Its unique rearward-stowing optical pods, engineered by Nocturn Industries, create one of the lowest profiles available in a panoramic night vision system, shifting weight closer to the user’s natural pivot point. This improves balance, reduces neck fatigue, and enhances comfort during extended use, vehicle operations, and confined movement.
Each pod can be stowed independently, allowing users to maintain visibility while clearing obstacles, navigating tight spaces, or running supplemental optics. The Nocturn Industries Chimera platform also offers the U.A.P.N.V.G.-B “Chimera Bridge,” providing plug-and-play compatibility with existing panoramic systems such as the L3 GPNVG-18 and ANVIS-10.
