Product Overview
The PVS-14 remains the most versatile and widely fielded night vision monocular available. Designed for multi-role use, it can be handheld, head-mounted, or helmet-mounted, allowing the user to maintain natural night adaptation in one eye while viewing the intensified image in the other.
The housing allows the unit to power off when flipped up and power on when deployed, enhancing efficiency during movement. The PVS-14 can also be weapon-mounted behind most collimated daytime optics and reflex sights, providing short-range night engagement capability.
Manual gain control enables the user to adjust image brightness based on environmental conditions. In extremely low-light environments, gain can be increased to improve visibility. In higher ambient light conditions, reducing gain helps prevent washout and preserves image detail.
