The Norotos Lo-Sto is a low-profile night-vision helmet mount. It is the articulating mount that attaches to a standard NVG helmet shroud or bracket; it is not itself a shroud. NVG interface configurations are bayonet/horn or dovetail.
Dovetail interface is for devices with a milspec dovetail shoe (AN/PVS-15, AN/PVS-18, AN/PVS-31 / BNVD, and other dovetail binoculars). Bayonet/horn interface is for USGI-style bayonet arms such as a milspec PVS-14 J-arm or AN/PVS- 7B/D. Norotos uses a quick-change adapter so the same mount can swap between horn and dovetail. A PVS-14 on a dovetail J-arm (Wilcox or Noisefighters) uses the dovetail socket, not the horn.
Force-to-overcome (Norotos P/N 1962010) flips up or down by pushing through a detent. Push-button (Norotos P/N 1960010) requires the stow button for flip-up/flip-down. A shuttle switch sets locked or breakaway release from the shroud.
Glide-Rite levers provide infinite vertical, tilt, and fore/aft adjustment. A helmet-mount release button removes the mount from the shroud. Auto shut-off is supported when the goggle is stowed or removed, on devices that use that circuit.
