The Norotos RHNO II is the current issue style articulating night-vision helmet mount with a bayonet/horn socket. This Procyon listing is the bayonet version, not the dovetail RHNO II-D. It accepts USGI-style bayonet J-arms used on AN/PVS-14 and AN/PVS-7B/D. It will not accept a dovetail shoe (Wilcox G24-style binoculars, Noisefighters AX14-PRO/MAX14, or a Wilcox PVS-14 dovetail J-arm) unless a separate horn to dovetail adapter is fitted that adapter is not this SKU.
The mount attaches to a standard NVG helmet shroud or bracket (PASGT / MICH / ACH pattern).
Force-to-overcome stow: push the goggle up to stow, pull down to deploy. Levers lock infinite Glide-Rite adjustment for vertical height, fore/aft eye relief, and tilt. A release button removes the mount from the shroud. Auto shut-off is supported on devices that use that circuit when the goggle is stowed.
