Designed for simplicity and ergonomic operation, the Talon features a single tactile control knob that manages power, gain, and infrared functions. Press-and-hold operation controls power, detented rotation adjusts gain, and double-tap activation enables the onboard IR illuminator with in-view status indication. Automatic shutoff when stowed and a low battery indicator further enhance usability in field conditions.
The Talon supports standard EGAC and European-style MX-11769 image intensifier tubes and accepts standard PVS-14 J-arms and accessories for seamless integration. With interchangeable battery caps and a cross-compatible image tube pod shared with Talon and Raptor systems, the U.N.V.M.
