The Wilcox G24 is a low profile breakaway night vision helmet mount with a dovetail shoe. It attaches to a Wilcox or compatible NVG shroud. It is not a bayonet mount, milspec PVS-14 bayonet J-arms and Norotos horn sockets will not plug in. A PVS-14 needs a separate dovetail J-arm (Wilcox PVS-14 J-arm, Noisefighters AX14-PRO, MAX14, or equivalent) before it will lock into a G24.
The breakaway base can be set to stay locked to the shroud or to release under snag/impact load to reduce neck injury risk.
Height, tilt, and fore/aft are one handed adjustments. The mount stows the goggle in a low profile over the helmet rather than high over the crown. Auto on/off works when used with Wilcox metal interface shoes on devices that support that circuit.
